Well
allot has been happening since I wrote last.
I have been doing the SX here in Germany and It has been going quite
well.
I was in Stuttgart ,Kiel ,Chemnitz, München and Dortmund.
All of them on the Knew 250cc 2004 2 stroke.
What a bike :O)
Dortmund went ok I was riding well but I had 2 small riding mistakes and
it coast me getting into the Final on Friday and Sunday.
The racing was fun and the track was quite demanding…
Dortmund
For Dortmund I had had my Motor done by Hubert Hoffmann and the starts
were working much better.
Dortmund is one of the “special” sx in Europe.
I had the honour of showing the public the track…
I must admit when all the lights were out and there were 10 000 lighters
on it gave me goose pimples..
I was by now enjoying the SX races. Every race you always get a bit
better.
The track was quite tough but I enjoyed it.
The racing was good and fast.
As so many of our SX tracks the start was more than half the race.
The Atmosphere in Dortmund is indescribable . Wow.
I want to thanks all my Fans and Friends that came to cheer me on .
Stuttgart
Was an interesting track.
The ground in Stuttgart is ver tacky and you have a huge amount of
traction.
I was riding quite well considering that it was my first time on a sx
track.
I had some bad luck with the first corner and that was the end of my
Final.
I was really enjoying my bike.
And the most important thing was I was unhurt.
Chemnitz
I was riding well and the track was strangely good.
Strangely because the dirt was very different.
The track was working well and I must say the start did work although I
was sure it wouldn’t because it funnelled into such a small space.
I got good results in C with a 3rd in the 250cc class and a 2nd in the
super final.
The people in Chemnitz were really friendly and a lot spoke to me and
were interested in what I would be doing next year.
München
The track in München was good.
I had fun on it.
I was 2nd on Friday in the 250 and 3rd in the super final.
The following days I was 4th in the Super final and 7th because I was
trying to pass the 4th placed rider and on the last lap I collided with
him and fell back to 7th .
The track was a bit soft in places but I was surprised at what they did
there. They had Supermoto on Friday Quads on Saterday and Ralley cars on
Sunday.
I trhought it was a well organized Race weekend.
Brno Czech Super Cross
Wow what a weekend . I was trying to a Visa to get in to Czecho from
Tuesday and it wasn’t working….
They told me that it was going to take 4 days at least to get 1. So here
I was running around trying to get things sorted but it didn’t work .
I had to phone them and cancel my start. I wasn’t happy because I really
enjoy the racing in Czechei.
They had been phoning me the whole day begging me to come.
Once I had seen that thee was no way I could make it I spoke to Sarholz
and told them they could have my bike because it had been sold already.
Then On Thurdays night 18h00 they phoned me and said that they had
orginzed a visa for me ???
So I phone my friend up and he drove to Nürnberg where we met and loded
my bike into my van.
At the border I was treated like royalty :o)
I got my visa and we were off to Brno.
It was 3h20 am when we got to bed … GGGäääähhnn
10h00 Frühstück then we were off to the stadium.
The track was quite small but the space had been utelized really well.
In timetraining I was 3rd.
The first qulifier race I won .
So there were 2 finals to go.
The first race I ended up 3rd. after I started 3rd.
The second final I was 4th but I started 6th .
I was 3rd over all.
Casey Johnson won and Markus Mauser was 2nd.
We all went back to our Hotel and showered.
The rest Casey ,Marco, Brandes. Mechanic and friends all went out.
I was waisted from the drive down and was asleep before my head hit the
pillow…
They all got back pretty late but they said it eas a lot of fun.
Then on Saterday I was motivated .
I was 2 nd in time training .
Markus was a tick faster then me.
I won all my races after that Quli, 1st Final and the 2nd Final..
That made me king of Brno :o)
It was a really good weekend and I must thank the Ministry of Indusry
and Trade
Mr Milan URBAN,
The Orginizer Mr Jan Juricka
And my long time friend Mr Ludek Reznicek.
With out them I would not have been able to ride.
It was a long trip back on Sunday but the roads were clear and the
weather was sunny.
The Czech republic is a very beautiful country.
Looking forward to going back again.

There
is a lot happening and I will keep you all Updated soon and in German. |
