The last time I rode in Holland I was having a really difficult time in the sand. I said to my self that I was not going to let that happen again.
Sooo My self and Rene spent the next weekend in the sand in Grevenbroich .
I drove to my friend Marcel on Saturday morning and picked him up and off we went ... SAND riding..
It made a huge difference.
I spent the Saturday night at my Mechanics house.
I was spoilt with allot of food from Katja and I even got a smile from Little Eric :o)))
On Wednesday I rode with my new bike, it’s awesome...
I spent the night again at Rene’s and we left early Thursday Morning to the track.
Getting to the track I was impressed. It was fast and not heavy sand.
I went out in time training and got 4th...
I wasn’t really happy with that at all. I didn’t get a good lap in.
1st moto I was out the gate good.
My bike is great to start.
I made 2 mistakes and I was 12th.
I rode cramped in the beginning but when I smoothed out I was riding much better and made my way up to 4th ,1/2 sec behind 3rd .
2nd moto .
I got another good start and was top 5.
The problem was I went down 2 times. Trying to pass riders.
I had to work hard ,getting back up to 3rd place.
It was at the end of the race that I was catching the other riders quickly.
They got pretty tired .
It cost me allot of effort though.
In the Super Final
I was 2nd off the start.
The only bike quicker was a 555 ccm Ktm of Sven Breugelmans.
3rd though was a 125 from Tyla.
I was riding ok and eventually got into the lead.
But 7 min from the end I was spent
Tyla and Marvin van Daele got passed and I ended up 3rd..
I was happy with the result.
In my race in Oss I was 21st a bit of an improvement :o)))
A big thanks to Rene and Uli and Burkhard..
I drove home on Thursday and got back at 1h00,
Then I was up again 6h00 and off on my way to Rudersberg in Stuttagrt .
I was asked by Stäbler Software and I.T house to do a school for some riders there.
We were really lucky with the weather. But at 16h00 the heavens opened at it dispersed all it had saved up in the last 3 days. That was the end of the school but it was fun.
