Back again and feeling better.
Firstly I want to thank Dr Kreutz for his help.
He is the one who has been “looking after me “.

Gaildorf

I was on my way down to Gaildorf and really looking forward to it.
I had spent the week in Bauschheim doing a school.
We got a bit wet on Thursday …. Other wise it was fun.

Nadine and I got to the track on Friday and it was looking awesome.
Rene had prepared my bike for me as good as ever and she was looking sexy :o).
On Saturday the track conditions were near to perfection.
I was riding a bit stiffly because I hadn’t been doing much training on my bike due to the virus I had.
It has almost taken me 4 weeks to get over it.
In timed training I 16th which wasn’t what I had hoped for.
On Saturday night it rained a bit but the track was good.
I was 7th in the morning practise.
I was also riding better, more round and higher gears.

I was off to a good start in the first race I was 13 round the second corner but soon I was up to 8th , I had just passed Josef Dobbes and was pulling away when my bike started getting loud and was back firing .
I had to stop after about 5 laps and we found out that the pipe torn a bolt off the cylinder.
I must say at this point I had had a lot of bike contact with other riders in the first 3 laps.
Racing GP`s is nothing for the faint hearted :o)
It was really frustrating though watching 6th place disappears.

In Moto 2 I was off to a blinding start and was lini8ng 5th .
I was pushing really hard in fact a little too hard because I washed the front wheel out.
I picked the bike up but it took a while to start it and I was last by quite a long way by the time I got going.
It was 35 min of just trying to ride smooth but I was over revving way to much anyway.
In the end I was rewarded with 3 points. 18 th place
It was the first time that I had done a 35 min moto since I had been sick so at least now I know I’m on my way back to my old self.
It’s still a way to go but I am slowly climbing the ladder again.

After we had packed up I drove my Van to the Silent sport truck and gave my training bike to Rene….
He fell over backwards :o)
Hmmm how can I put it gently it was well abused.
Thanks Rene
That's all folks
